About Water Treatment Systems
Water is necessary for life. Unfortunately, water from a well or a chlorine-treated public water system can still be contaminated at the source or along the way by natural minerals, chemicals, sewage, bacteria, and viruses.
If your water contains dissolved minerals like calcium or magnesium, it is “hard.” When such water is heated, it leaves behind deposits (“scale”) in appliances and pipes that affect efficiency and performance. A water softener replaces the unwanted minerals with salt, ending the scale.
If your water contains biological contaminants like viruses, bacteria, or protozoa, you could remove them with a water filtration system.
If your water has biological and chemical contaminants (like lead), a reverse osmosis system can remove these, plus dissolved minerals, natural minerals like fluoride, herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
For the most comprehensive filtering and cleaning, consider a water purification system. It uses filters to remove particles and reverse osmosis to remove smaller particles, plus minerals or other substances dissolved in the water.
Let the experts with Paul the Plumber test your water to determine what needs to be removed, and then identify the best water treatment solution for your home for the safest, cleanest water possible.

Called Paul on Valentine’s Day, today, Sunday, 2/14/21. They were very responsive. They were helpful and friendly. I was charged only $345 and it was a pretty complicated job with wall cutting required. The copper pipe on hose faucet on exterior brick had busted and was leaking. Had to cut inside house under sink. Didn’t put the hose back as third hose on exterior for multiple reasons but primarily because we would have to remove the bathroom sink completely. A lot of plumbing parts are sold out too per this odd hard freeze with schools and roads shut down. Replace pipe and end piece. Paul was very knowledgeable and friendly by phone. He has a good team that was helpful along the way as well. Deborah did great with communicating and scheduling as well. I highly recommend them.

Paul and his employees were all terrific, I honestly can't say enough good things about them! They were on time, very communicative, upfront about everything. My situation required me to leave and go buy a new toilet and they had another appointment, but they made sure to come back to my house after that appointment and were here well into the evening (way past working hours) to ensure that everything got taken care of and handled! I appreciate it so much! We will ALWAYS use Paul the Plumber for our plumbing needs and highly recommend that you call them for all of yours! Great people!
