About Sewage Pump
To ensure the health and safety of your home, you need clean water and a functioning system to take sewage to your septic or city sewage system.
Usually plumbing systems have fixtures above the septic or city sewage system, so gravity can move everything downhill through the pipeline. When that’s not possible, the bathroom usually drains into a basin, like a septic tank, where an automatic sewage pump then pumps everything to the sewer or septic line.
There are two main types of sewage pumps: bulb pumps and tether float pumps. Bulb sewage pumps are similar to the bulbs in sump pumps and toilet reservoirs. When fluid levels are high enough, the pump’s bulb trips a switch, starting the pump. As it pumps and fluid levels subside, the pump stops. Tether floats work the same way, but use a horizontally floating tether switch instead of a bulb.
The experts at Paul the Plumber can evaluate your property, determine the best sewage pump for your needs, and install it correctly so it provides years of dependable services. If your sewage pump has any problems, contact us immediately to minimize health concerns and property damage.

Called Paul on Valentine’s Day, today, Sunday, 2/14/21. They were very responsive. They were helpful and friendly. I was charged only $345 and it was a pretty complicated job with wall cutting required. The copper pipe on hose faucet on exterior brick had busted and was leaking. Had to cut inside house under sink. Didn’t put the hose back as third hose on exterior for multiple reasons but primarily because we would have to remove the bathroom sink completely. A lot of plumbing parts are sold out too per this odd hard freeze with schools and roads shut down. Replace pipe and end piece. Paul was very knowledgeable and friendly by phone. He has a good team that was helpful along the way as well. Deborah did great with communicating and scheduling as well. I highly recommend them.

Paul and his employees were all terrific, I honestly can't say enough good things about them! They were on time, very communicative, upfront about everything. My situation required me to leave and go buy a new toilet and they had another appointment, but they made sure to come back to my house after that appointment and were here well into the evening (way past working hours) to ensure that everything got taken care of and handled! I appreciate it so much! We will ALWAYS use Paul the Plumber for our plumbing needs and highly recommend that you call them for all of yours! Great people!
